We usually wonder, how Imperfect our life has turned. We keep cribbing about not having a good job, a good pay, a well settled life, proper finances, a good relationship, a good house… etc.
But have you ever wondered …. how BORING could be a perfect life?? Well, if you had the perfect job.. but not a perfect life partner… how often do you talk about your perfect job? Very rarely (if am not wrong….) How often do you even think of making your perfect job..much better? Less.. Though you’re working towards the goals of your company (which you have to for not being fired 😛 )…
If things were perfect you’d never think about it much..or on how improving it … If you scored the 1st position in your class, you wouldn’t be struggling much for being first unless its your first time… You’d rather be worrying about how less true friends you have from your classmates..or how strict your parents are on regular studying and not allowing you to enjoy out sometimes on weekdays.
If people were perfect just as you want… wouldnt you take them for granted and not respect them much OR just vice versa. Think about it..
Think about how sometimes you tend to take your parents for granted.. because you know they’ll not leave you… they’re there with you always ..no matter how rude you tend to be or how least importance you give them??!!
Just because your friends are with you all the time whenever you needed them, you remember them only when you need them?! OR even vice versa…
In case of relationships..usually there is an imbalance.. one always loves the other more than the other. And sometimes even in this case, either of them, take each other for granted.
In the case of career.. you’re doing exactly what you want, but you don’t have the right kind of job which you have been wanting to do…
All these are very natural instances. And nothing at all bad… because they are in human nature. But how we deal with it matters a lot… There is nothing such as a Perfect Life, nothing such as a perfect relationship or even a perfect job. Everything and every individual has their own flaws and qualities. Our job is not to notice the flaws and talk and think about them all the time. Our work is to embrace them beautifully and to lessen the expectations. Like how do you feel when you are given a surprise, when you hadn’t expected something like that to happen (in a complete positive way) …HAPPY !!
The more we embrace situations and people… the more we are near towards contentment…. 😀
